Scroll Paintings

I really like this one because I like the way that the artist gave it that sort of illusion that we were looking at the tree as if we were sitting down and looking up. I also really like how realistic the tree and the flowers look, he has like all of the pines looking like everyone of them were individually placed there, instead of like just a bunch of scribbled and horrible looking pine needles. And the artists color use just adds to the realistic kind of feel of the painting.

I really like this style of chinese s
crolls because in most that I have seen, they artist usually tells a story. In this one the artist is displaying the same area just different seasons. I really like how they added the different elements that tie into the different seasons.

I really like this painting because I like the way the artist expressed how he saw this season. I just love the way the colors mesh together it make the painting look even more spectacular.

I really like this Indian painting because they used a variety of colors and they made the colors bold which made the painting really pop. I also like how a lot of Indian paintings incorporate buddha in them because it shows a pride for their culture.

I really like the colors in this painting, although there isn't much variation in the painting regarding colors but just the generic colors make it look really natural and beautiful. Just like Chinese kind, the Japanese scroll painting look realistic, because you can tell that the artist really put time into making the bamboo and the little leaves look realistic.

DOOR TO DOOR VERSION 1 (pictures)

For a majority of the house that we went to no one was home but for the ones where people were there, they all said the same thing; that they didn't have any junk mail. They all had the same answers, like they didn't look at their junk mail they just threw it away. They did however agree to collect their junk mail (and tell their neighbors to do it too) and let us have it.

Chris Silva's work

Artist’s Hand Portrays Lyin Ass Dog, Whose Sweet Wife Thinks He is...
I like this piece because it resembles a hand shadow but instead of using a light to make a shadow he portrays the hand as a actual dog. If I could ask him a question I would ask him, "what was your motivation to make a creepy "doglike-hand", was it to let the people reminisce on their old childhood when they would make shadow puppets?

1. The first piece of art that I like is from Erik Otto, called Terrestrial Syndrome "water" series because I like the arrangement of all of the canvas' to make the scene. I also like the colors that he used because they really mesh together to make a beautiful piece of art.

2. The second piece of art that I like is from Erik
Otto, called "Water in the Clouds" because I like how realistic the clouds look it just makes the piece look like it comes alive. I also like the fact that he used the little house like pieces because the way they are just hanging on the strings make it look like the wind is actually blowing.

3. The third piece of art that I like is from Erik Otto, called "Silence Speaks Volume" because I like the wa
y he uses the canvas' to tell almost like a story. I also like the way in the middle canvas he made the mountain in the painting look like a reflection. It almost looks not like an actual painting but realistic because he painted the exact places where the reflection would be, like he was looking at an actual reflection of a mountain and just painting what he saw.

4. The fourth piece of art that I like is from Jen
Stark, called "Cosmological Constant" because I like the way it makes you feel like your in a trans. It looks like it's actually moving ,like one of those books that we used to read when we were little when you looked at a pattern and if you looked in the middle it made the art look like it's swirling or moving. This piece makes me think of those kinds of art, like when I looked in the middle of it, it looked like it was moving.

5. The last piece of art that I like is from Faile, called "Bunny Girl Silence or Shanghai 18" I'm not really sure which one is the right name for it but I do like the way the artists' made the girl seem so innocent. Just by the look in her eye and the way she is holding onto the bunny it looks like she knows she did something wrong but she is trying to act innocent and it's working because she looks harmless and you wonder if she really is all innocent or if that is just an act.
